Visiting Elective Students
Welcome to the Visiting Elective Program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Western Ontario.
Please contact the Visiting Electives Office of the Schulich School of Medicine and
Dentistry (SSMD) at The University of Western Ontario to apply for an elective
with our Department: http://www.schulich.uwo.ca/medicine/undergraduate/vse
Once your
application and your fee have been received by the SSMD, they will send a
letter to the Department to confirm that your application is complete. You will be contacted by Angelika Edwards one
week in advance of your elective with regards to your schedule.
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery treats elective students as junior interns permitting a more advanced, in-depth experience. We are able to accommodate up to 2 visiting students at any given time. Please apply early, as spaces fill up fast.
